I cannot believe it is already September - I'm not sure where summer went! As much as I love summer and all the fun activities that go along with it, fall is also one of my favorite times of year. I love fall clothes and fall foods - pumpkin recipes, chilis, soups, etc. YUM! And of course fall means football season! I love spending Sunday afternoon, or Sunday Funday as we like to call it here in Chicago (and I'm sure in other places too), watching my San Francisco 49ers!
Things I’m Loving
I've mentioned the Windy City Blogger Collective before. This is such a great group of local bloggers and last night I met up with a fellow blogger, Katie Doyle, who writes Personally Paleo. We met up for a great workout at Soul Cycle and then she chatted with me about my blog for a series of posts she is doing. The sense of community I get from other bloggers is so nice and refreshing.
Blog Love
The longer I blog, the more blogs I read, so the more great recipes I come across to add to my "must make" list. These are my favorites this month!
These Chocolate Mousse Brownies from Peas & Peonies look delicious!
I think I may have to make these Thyme Blueberry Muffins from The Chunky Chef for breakfast every day!
Who doesn't love tater tots, but these Zucchini Tater Tots from She Likes Food actually make me feel like I'm eating something healthy!
These Spanish Burgers with Serrano Ham & Fried Eggs from Lexi Bites seem like they would be the perfect thing for Sunday Funday!
Blogging Tips
This post from Lindsey at Pinch of Yum about How to Hide an Image in WordPress has been really helpful, and has really inspired me to learn more about how to use Photoshop! Check out my drinks round-up below for the first photo collage I created in Photoshop!
