What a yummy year!! These were my top viewed recipes in 2015 and include some of my favorites!
Chicken Burrito Bowls – These bowls are one of my favorite weeknight meals! I make the Spicy Mexican Chicken that goes in them nearly every Sunday to use in these, as well as other dishes throughout the week.
Zucchini Cakes with Goat Cheese Mousse – I just love these zucchini cakes! They are perfect for a light weeknight dinner and also make a great side dish…..and the goat cheese mousse is amazing!
Chardonnay Chicken with Mushrooms – My mom used to make a version of this dish for me when I was a kid. It’s an easy dish that’s quick enough for a weeknight meal yet elegant enough for Sunday dinner, and it’s ready in less than 30 minutes!!
Turkey Sausage & Mushroom Egg Muffins – These egg-based muffins are one of my “go to” breakfast options. They are super tasty and are perfectly packable for breakfast on the go!
Shrimp & Udon Noodle Bowl – This recipe is one of my favorite experiments of 2015! It combines grilled shrimp with Udon noodles and a lovely miso sauce; served with a lovely glass of Rosé it is the perfect meal!
Grilled Peppers Stuffed with Pearl Couscous Salad – Grilling these peppers gives them a bit of extra flavor, and the couscous salad they are stuffed with is quick and easy to make.
Drunken Banana Bread – This is my twist on a traditional banana bread recipe. Nothing like adding a bit of Cointreau for extra flavor!
Grilled Salmon with Mustard Sauce – This is a great summer grilling recipe that can be made all year around with the help of a nice indoor grill pan. The tarragon mustard sauce is one of my favorites and works well on vegetables as well as other types of fish.
Tomato Bisque with Grilled Cheese Sticks – This is the ultimate comfort food! I just love a creamy tomato soup with nice toasty grilled cheese to dip in it. You might want to make some extra grilled cheese sticks when you try this one!
Glazed Orange Cranberry Scones – These scones combine two of my favorite flavors – cranberry and orange. They are perfect with tea in the afternoon or as part of a Sunday brunch buffet.
I love hearing your feedback! Let me know which recipe was your favorite, and what you’d like to see more of in 2016.
Happy New Year!!
